Ashleigh Papakyriakou

Ashleigh Papakyriakou is an Energy Technology Researcher II at Berkeley Lab in the Building Technology & Urban Systems Division. In this role, Ashleigh supports technical research on corporate portfolio-level greenhouse gas emissions reduction planning, small building controls, and related areas.

Prior to joining Berkeley Lab, Ashleigh worked as sustainability specialist in the HVAC industry, where she helped clients achieve their sustainability goals. This role involved collaborating with architects and mechanical and electrical engineering teams to deliver energy-efficient and low-carbon designs for both new and existing buildings. Ashleigh is passionate about building decarbonization and creating more sustainable buildings.

Ashleigh is a licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario, Canada and holds an M.S. in Building Engineering from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada, and a B.S. in Environmental Engineering from the University of Waterloo in Waterloo, Canada.
